The product design of Vodafone’s Smart 8 Platinum is the result of an intense and interdisciplinary development approach, which combines cutting-edge technology and engineering with premium proportions and materials. The smartphone features front-facing stereo, nicely integrated into a 2.5D glass. The rear side is made from textured 3D glass, which makes the device look super thin and offers perfect ergonomics. The middle frame is made from CNC machined anodized aluminum and the polished chamfers create a new geometrical blend with the side keys and sculpt a holistic and iconic formal solution. The design was developed in close collaboration with Vodafone.
