nr21 DESIGN is the ultimate design studio, which works on an exciting and diverse project scope for international clients and successful brands. We develop design that even proves its worth right through the implementation phase. Our intention is to create logical and people-friendly products that impress in the market, thanks to their quality and individuality. We take on projects for start-ups and medium-sized companies right through to global players. We also generate proactive product ideas in order to provide creative stimulus or for actual implementation. Our cooperation with research institutes and universities allows us to support the development and communication of current movements in technology and materials research. The scope of our work ranges from the development of innovation concepts and research projects to the definition of design constants, product families and singular product innovations, to logical product differentiation within a portfolio and/or market.

As a Senior Industrial Designer at nr21 DESIGN, you stand for the highest design quality with your experience and creative skills. You work on exciting and diverse projects for international clients. Your goal is to create logical and user-friendly product solutions on an outstanding formal level and thus make our customers more successful.
Requirements / Responsibilities:
- You have a master’s degree (or equivalent) in industrial design or a similar degree.
- You have at least 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
- You can communicate, visualize and model your ideas in all project phases – from brainstorming to implementation and product launch.
- You can independently develop sophisticated design concepts for a wide variety of product archetypes.
- You are able to lead, inspire and motivate the project members of a team.
- You strive to meet, innovate, and exceed your customers‘ expectations.
- You work confidently with software solutions such as Rhino, Adobe CS and your e-mail program and enjoy developing new workflows.
- You already have experience in project implementation and project management.
- You can create convincing presentations that communicate the developed strategies and solutions in a comprehensible way.
- You have knowledge and understanding of medium to complex mechanical, electronic and production-specific context.
- You have a wide range of industry experience in at least one of the following areas:
- Consumer electronics
- Medical technology
- Lifestyle products
- Mobility / Automotive
- Your professional character is: positive, creative, visionary, meticulous, interested and open-minded.
- You have the ability to integrate yourself well into a diverse team and to work successfully within the defined project framework.
- You have the following language skills: English with very good oral and written communication skills. German is a plus!
- You are entitled to work in the European Union.

- Ideally, you have already been able to gain initial work experience.
- You are able to communicate, sketch, visualize and model your ideas in all project phases – from brainstorming to implementation and product launch.
- You can independently develop sophisticated design concepts for a wide variety of product archetypes.
- You are able to inspire and support the project members of a team.
- Your goal is to meet, innovate, and exceed customer expectations.

Requirements
- The internship is part of the study regulations for your degree program.
- You are authorized to work or study within the European Union.
- You already have good knowledge of 3D modeling, preferably Rhino.
- You have a very good formal understanding.
- You can effortlessly present your ideas and considerations using sketches (2D & 3D).
